Join us in welcoming Mary Hobson to onPlatinum as the new Sales Manager for Queensland. She has been with the team since October 2020 and will be managing a small team of sales people. Mary has over 20 years’ experience in customer facing sales roles across ICT Business Solutions, Infrastructure, Digital Transformation, Professional Services and Consulting. Passionate about building customer relationships and coaching, she has worked across financial services, telecommunications, media and communications, corporate, government, retail and logistics.

What does a typical day look like for you?
In a typical day, I will be checking sales figures and discussing sales proposals and appointments with my team. I also spend time attending client meetings and internal meetings. I like to spend time whiteboarding, and I am always learning and listening.
What are three words you would use to describe onPlatinum?
I would describe onPlatinum as Trustworthy, caring and focussed.
What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?
I love building client relationships and networking, as well as selling and coaching.
What would people never guess you do in your role?
I think people might be surprised that I spent time researching other businesses and competitive service offerings.
How does your department collaborate with others in the business?
As we are bringing in new clients, we get to interact with every part of the company!
If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I love seafood, so lobster or any other fresh shellfish.
What music do you listen to?
